Synastry chart — comparing two charts, layer by layer

Instead of one compatibility score you get seven layers: emotional, practical, and what each of you actually values. Plus where you speak the same language and where you need a translator.

What gets compared

Moons — your emotional language

Whether your Moons share an element. This governs whether you react to the same event the same way, or have to explain why something landed badly.

Venus — how each of you loves

What each of you does to show affection and what each of you reads as care. A common source of hurt: both partners are trying, in different languages.

Nakshatras and Ba Zi

Jyotish adds a deeper compatibility layer; Ba Zi adds the practical one — Harmony or Clash between your year animals and elements.

Human Design

How your types make decisions. A Generator and a Projector clash over pace, not character — which is fixable by understanding rather than patience.

Why a compatibility percentage tells you almost nothing

Most calculators hand back a single number. The trouble is that it is not actionable: 82% does not tell you what you will argue about on Thursday, or what to do about it.

So this reading is built the other way round — layer by layer, naming where the pair is strong and where there is friction. Friction is not a verdict. Opposing Moons often produce the strongest pull, because each partner supplies what the other lacks. Knowing that is worth more than a score.

It ends with concrete recommendations for your specific pair: what to watch for, what to say out loud, and where unspoken resentment tends to collect.

It is not only for romance. The same layers work for a friend, a parent, a business partner or a colleague — you choose who to add.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need besides birth dates?

Two dates are enough. Adding the other person's birth time and place makes the reading sharper — it unlocks the Ascendant and house layer — but the comparison is complete without them.

Is this only for romantic relationships?

No. The same layers apply to friends, family, colleagues and business partners. The emphasis in the recommendations changes; the underlying calculation does not.

What if the reading shows a lot of friction?

It is not a verdict. Hard aspects mean you have to negotiate in places other couples never think about — and the reading tells you exactly where. Plenty of durable relationships are built on precisely these configurations.

Does the other person need to consent?

You only need their birth date. That said, it is decent to tell them — the result is about both of you.
